Kahlert Foundation Complex

Located on the south side of the Howard Community College campus in Columbia, the Kahlert Foundation Complex (formerly known as the Mathematics and Athletics Complex) was opened in the fall of 2024. The complex stands at 193,000 square feet and four floors.

The Kahlert Foundation Complex features a math learning center, class labs, study lounge, maker space, and a research area. The athletics area includes a competition gym, multipurpose gym, locker rooms, classroom, fitness center, and strength and conditioning room. The main gym, nicknamed the Dragons Lair, is home to the HCC men's, women's, and JV basketball teams, along with the women's volleyball and co-ed cheerleading programs. Each team has their own unique locker room, and every program has access to a student-athlete only training room.
