Program Design

YepHighJump

The program was designed to introduce participants to the basic skills and techniques of track and field through our Fundamental program.  Participants will then continue to envision concise goals as well as develop specific skills as they progress through the Developmental program.  As they continually progress through developmental training, they are no longer regarded as participants, they become athletes focused and poised.  They begin to embrace their competitiveness in the Performance program. All three programs are modular and designed to run concurrently.

The intended outcomes of the program are:

Participants advance through the three tiers of development: fundamental, developmental, and performance.
Grow the participation from 30 participants in 2023, to 60 by the conclusion of the program.
Participants will decisively choose event groups to develop in.
Through meet management software, participants’ competition results will be recorded and compiled.
Participants will learn how to objectively set goals.
Participants will run faster, jump, and throw farther.
Participants will discover their athletic potential and value.
Participants will lead active, fit, and healthy lifestyles.
Participants will learn sportsmanship, teamwork, and accountability.
Participants will network by meeting athletic coaches and staff.
Participants will be offered competitive meet opportunities.
