The Dragons women's lacrosse team put together a dominating display against CCBC Essex by the tune of 21-5.

Howard CC scored the first seven goals of the game before the Knights were able to put one on the board.

Rebeka Coughlin (Sykesville, MD/Liberty HS) led the charge for the Dragons as she put in four first half goals, finishing the game with five goals and one assist along with nine ground balls. Dragons leading scorer Erica Heaphy (Columbia, MD/Centennial HS) had another great game, matching Coughlin's five goals and one assist. Captain Charlotte Wilkinson (Hanover, MD/Howard HS) was the overall dominant force on the day as she contributed three goals, nine assists, three ground balls, and 14 draw controls.

The HCC defense did their part as well as the Dragons won the ground balls 38-25 and goalie Ellie Garvey (Elkridge, MD/Francis Scott Key) racked up eight saves.

The 8-1 Dragons next face off against Nassau CC on Sunday 4/19; game time is slated for 3 PM.
