In this #1 vs. #2 matchup, the Tribunes came in riding there 70+ game win streak and Howard looked to end it. The game started with Monroe taking an early 2 goal lead on goals by Janee DeLuca and Christie Hahn. The Dragons answered right back with a goal by 
Olivia Canby (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) to cut the lead in half at 2-1. Monroe's Kendall Jones put the Tribunes back up by 2 with her goal. The Dragons then went on a 5-1 run with goals by Howard coming from Olivia Candy, 
Delaney Heath (Glenelg, MD/Glenelg), and 
Olivia Canby (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) which was her (3
rd) of the game and a hat trick but also the goal came on a man up.

Cassidy Delaney (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge ) scored on a man up with the assist coming from 
Delaney Heath (Glenelg, MD/Glenelg). Just before the half Monroe's Dana Isaacs scored to make it 6-4 Howard at the half. Out of the half Monroe scored four straight goals by Kendall Jones (2
nd), Dana Isaacs (2
nd) assisted by Christie Hahn, Charity Warner, and Christie Hahn to put Monroe up 8-6. 
Kelsey Scott (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville ) struck back with a goal assisted by 
Cassidy Delaney (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge ) 36 seconds later to cut the lead down to one. Monroe's Janee Deluca scored her (2
nd) goal to push the lead back up at two. 
Cassidy Delaney (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge ) scored the next two Howard goals giving her a hat trick to tie the game up at 9. During most of the 2
nd half the scoring was back and forth with both teams going on goal scoring runs. Morgan Hollenback put the Tribunes up 10-9, midway through the 2
nd half.

Monroe's Morgan Hollenback scored the final two goals getting her own hat trick and the win for Monroe 12-11.  This game ends the win streak for the Dragons whose record is (10-1, 5-0) but will make the next matchup vs Monroe even better cause they know they can compete with them.
