Columbia, MD - Going up against the #1 ranked, undefeated Harford Fighting Owls, the Howard Dragons were unable to pull off the upset as they fell 17-4.
 Harford came out strong, taking a 12-0 lead midway through the first half before
Sandra Naylor (Elkridge, MD/Mt. DeSales) was finally able to get the Dragons on the board with a power play free position goal.
The Dragons added a few more in the second half as
Kristen Ogle (Sykesville, MD/Century) continued to push her team forward, assisting on goals by
Maddie Reeser (Sykesville, MD/Century) and Naylor before scoring the final goal of the game with 10 seconds left.
Ogle was named to the All-Tournament team thanks to her three points along with five caused turnovers and five ground balls while Naylor was also given All-Tournament honors with her two goals and four draw controls.
The Dragons end their season with a 1-10 record and will now be forced to say goodbye to a great group of sophomores that includes Ogle, Naylor, Reeser,
Danielle Jones (Glenwood, MD/Glenelg),
Madison Altenburg (Columbia, MD/Seton Keogh) and
Chanel Shaw (Kaneohe, HI/North Ridge).
