Columbia, MD - Howard Community College Dragons' fans will have three additional opportunities to see their favorite athletes in action this spring, as three new events have been added to the calendar.
Softball and track & field have both added events to the calendar for the month of April, with track attending two new meets and softball scheduling an additional doubleheader.
Track & field will participate in the Dalton Ebanks Invitational at George Mason University on the weekend of April 4. The Dragons will look to test their skills against tough NCAA competition before the NJCAA Region 20 championships on the weekend of April 11.
A second meet scheduled for the weekend of April 25 will see the Dragons split their team in half. Half of the Dragons will head to Philadelphia, PA for the already-scheduled Penn Relays at historic Penn Stadium. The other half will head to Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA, for the Paul Kaiser Classic.
Softball has added an away doubleheader for Saturday, April 18 against Region 19 powerhouse Mercer County Community College at 12:00 PM. The Dragons will look to add a pair of quality wins to their resume as they gear up for the Region 20 tournament at the end of the month.
