The Lady Dragons came through with their gutsiest performance of the year as they were able to topple conference rivals Harford CC 14-13 to improve their record to a perfect 5-0 on the season.

HCC fell behind the Fighting Owls 6-3 before storming back with 3 straight goals, two of which came from forward Erica Heaphy (Columbia, MD, Centennial HS) stick, to end the first half tied 6-6.

After Harford jumped out with 5-2 run to start the 2nd half, the Dragons charged back with goals from Rebeka Coughlin (Sykesville, MD, Liberty HS) and Charlotte Wilkinson (Hanover, MD, Howard HS) to make it a 1 point Owl lead. Harford answered back with a couple of goals to make it a 13-10 game with just 6 minutes left in the game. The Lady Dragons then went on a furious rally with 2 goals from Coughlin, another goal from Heaphy, and the eventual game winner from Michelle Sparling (Jessup, MD, Hammond HS) with just 1:21 left to play.

Howard CC was led by Heaphy and Coughlin each tallying 4 goals and 1 assist, 3 goals 1 assist and 10 draw controls from Wilkinson, as well as a 2 goal 1 assist game from Sparling.
