The Howard CC men's lacrosse team finished their season with a heartbreaking loss as they fell to Anne Arundel CC in OT 12-11. The NJCAA Region XX semi-finals played at Harford CC was a contest that saw the Dragons ahead for most of the game before giving away the lead late and ultimately the overtime goal.

The Dragons were led by sophomore captain Geron Brooks (Baltimore, MD, Boys Latin), who was the heart of the team with his passion as well as providing three goals, two assists, and eight groundballs for the team. Fellow midfielder Jarred Riley (Windsor, CA, FJ Brennan HS) was able to add a hat trick of his own and Josh Ventureli (Wilmington NC, Liberty HS) chipped in two goals and an assist before leaving the game with an injury.

Howard CC dominated in the faceoff circle as midfielder Daniel Bishop (Silver Spring, MD, Paint Branch HS) won 22 of 26 faceoffs along with 15 groundballs.

Goalie Andrew Sileo (Sarasota, FL., IMG Academy) was able to tally 11 saves on 23 shots compared to the Pioneers goalie Michael Reigle who managed only three saves on 14 shots.
