The Dragons lacrosse team put together another dominating performance, routing Harford CC 20-6. The HCC men's lacrosse team is now 6-3 on the year and 2-0 in the conference.
Despite Howard CC picking up seven and a half minutes of penalty time throughout the game, the Dragons controlled possession for much of the game in large part to the dominating ground balls that favored Howard 35-18.
The Dragons offense had a multitude of contributors on the day, with attackman Cody Martin (Middletown, MD, Middletown HS) leading the way with 4 goals and 4 assists. Jarred Riley (Windsor, CA, FJ Brennan HS) added 5 goals and an assist, Austin Mitchell (Laurel, MD, Reservoir HS) had 4 goals, and midfielder Scott Dagnanleach (Hazel Grove, UK, Hazel Grove HS) dished out 4 assists on the day.
Harford CC struggled to keep up with the Dragons for the ball as evidenced by the disparity in shots as Howard led the category 53-21 along with a 32-8 advantage for shots on goal.
With the win, the Dragons move into a tie for 1st place in the conference with CCBC Essex setting up a huge tilt on April 19th.
