Howard CC's Cassidy Delaney (Ellicott City, MD, Marriotts Ridge High School) scored 6 goals and added an assist to lead the Dragons to a 16-10 win over Nassau CC. The #2 ranked Dragons are now 6-1 on the season as they continue to impress.

The Dragon's weekend trip to New York started with an afternoon matinee against the team that knocked HCC out of the Regional tournament last year. Revenege must have been sweet indeed for those that were on the team last year. In particular, players like Rebeka Coughlin (Sykesville, MD, Liberty High School) who scored a goal and an assist, Ivana Yakovleff (Columbia, MD, Springbrook High School) who added 2 goals, Ellie Garvey (Elkridge, MD, Francis Scott Key) who tallied 9 saves on 19 shots on goal.

Audrey Ford (Woodbine, MD, Glenelg HS) continued to show vast improvement in each game she plays in as she scored 4 goals and accumulated 5 draw controls. Coughlin led the team with 4 ground balls, 5 draw controls, and 5 caused turnovers. Heather Veli (Burtonsville, MD, Blake High School) added a goal and an assist to the effort and Silvia Kim (Clarksville, MD, River Hill High School) scored 2 goals in a game where almost everyone on the offensive side scored at least one goal in the game. 

HCC will finish their New York swing with a 12 PM game at Suffolk CC on Sunday April 10th.
