After falling to Hagerstown CC 77-63, the Dragons looked to get a win on Sunday against the Lions of Nassau CC. This was the second team from New York, Howard played in a week. In the 1st half of the game it went back and forth with the Dragons holding their largest lead at 19-15 with 8:54 till halftime. Going into halftime the Lions lead 34-31. During the first half Howard was unable to contain Nassau's Terrell Williams who scored 18 of his team's 34 first half points. Going into the second half of the game the Dragons were able to keep the game close. But just could not get over the hump and take the lead. The Dragons were led by
Taequan Hall (Baltimore, MD/Glen Burnie)'s 14 points, ZayZay Loomis scored 9 points,
Nathan Bonsu (Silver Spring, MD/Blake), and
Connor Jacobs (Laurel, MD/Annapolis Area Christian) both had 8 points. With the loss the Dragons fall to (3-10) overall and (2-5) in the conference. The Dragons next play Frederick CC on January 18th and then travel to play Garrett College on January 21st. Next Dragons next home game is January 25th vs. PGCC.
