Riding a seven game win streak the Jersey Blues came into the Dragon's Lair on their Maryland tour looking to add to the Dragon's woes and extend their win streak to 8 and Howard's losing streak to 9. After a tough loss on Wednesday the Dragons were looking to rebound.  The Dragons came out in their road uniforms, the first half went back and forth having the lead change 9 times with the largest lead coming at the 3:01 mark in the first half of the game when Howard jumped out to a 10 point lead. The Dragons went into the half leading 40-34, the second half was more the same as the first. The lead changed 11 times with the largest coming at 8:45 when Howard went up by 11. Neftaly Lind (Albany, NY/Green Tech Charter) was a man on a mission scoring 19 of his 30 points in the second half, as the second half was coming to a close it would take overtime to decide a winner. 86-86 at the start of overtime Howard took the early lead and did not give it up. The Dragons won ending their 8 game streak and leaving the Brookdale with the "Jersey Blues". Neftaly Lind (Albany, NY/Green Tech Charter) led the way with 30 points, Paul Golder (Laurel, MD/Laurel) scored 19, Dylan DeLaRosa (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) scored 15, and Taequan Hall (Baltimore, MD/Glen Burnie) scored 13. The Dragons next play Allegany College of Maryland Saturday January 28th and January 30th against Navy JV.
