Dragons make it 4 in a row with win over Montgomery College

How it happened:
  • The Dragons look determined from the start and won a hard fought first set 25-19.
  • Alana Matson (Baltimore, MD/Seton Keough) was on fire finishing with 17 kills to lead the team.
  • Trinity Smith (Laurel, MD/Laurel) continued her improvement with 12 kills, 7 digs, and 1 assist.
  • The two teams traded sets, but the third set seemed to be the one to turn the tide,  Howard was able to win it 27-25.
  • Montgomery was able to come back and force a 5th set, with Kalin Colbert and Saraphina Pierre-Louis hitting the ball very well.
  • In the fifth set the Dragons looked possessed and were not going to let this game slip away.  They were able to take a 10-4 lead and cruise to a 15-11 victory.

  • The Dragons look to make it 5 in a row as they play AACC for the second time of the season on 10/4/2017.
