Box Score After beating the Community College of Beaver County (PA) 3-1, the Dragons hoped to build off the victory with a win against Harford tonight. The Howard team drew energy from the crowd, every point scored by Howard the crowd yelled "HCC" and on the serve someone yelled "cheese bread". Late in the 3rd set with the Owls up 2-0, Coach Gary Troy called a timeout down 23-20 to rally his troops. Out of the timeout Howard was able to put the pressure back on Harford and tied the set up at 23 all. Then Harford went up a set point and Howard came back to tie the set at 24. Eventually Howard pushed the match to a 4th set winning the third 27-25. The Dragons fought hard but lost in the 4th set. Though Howard lost the match they kept the score close in every set. With the loss the Dragons are .500 on the season (3-3). The next home match for the Dragons is Monday September 11th vs. CCBC Essex.
