HCC held tough against a number 10 ranked Harford team that has been dominant all season long.  HCC held the Owls scoreless for most of the 1st half until they broke through with a breakaway goal in the 26th minute of the game.  HCC gave up two more goals to close out the first half.
 
The Dragons Savannah Hill (Laurel, MD/South Carroll) led the defensive effort in the second half holding Harford to only one goal on 13 shots.  Hill was often tested in this game and came up big making 13 saves on 17 shots on goal.  
 
On several occasions, HCC's offense was able to push the ball up the field. However, the Dragon's were unable to put any pressure on the Owls netminder.
 
HCC's schedule doesn't get any easier as they will face Stevenson's JV next Tuesday to prepare them for Hagerstown and a trip up to New Jersey to face Brookdale and Rowan College at Gloucester.
