The Howard Community College (HCC) men's soccer program defeated Chesapeake College by a score of 14-0. The Dragons led by a dominant offensive attack, which scored at will throughout the game.
HCC controlled all facets of the match from the first whistle, which has been a welcomed change from the previous few games. In the past couple of games, the HCC was led by strong defensive performances, but the defense was not needed today as HCC controlled the possession in their attacking third.
The 2nd half was much of the same as the Dragons' controlled possession and changing around the lineup getting multiple different looks at players in unfamiliar positions. The Dragons Finished the game with 58 shots and 33 shots on goal. Kyree, Francis, and Francisco led the scoring efforts for the Dragons, each tallying two goals. Drew Myers led the Dragons in Assists with two on the day.
HCC returns to action as they Travel to Frederick Community College Tuesday, September 26, game time is slated for 4 PM.
