In a back and forth game that saw numerous lead changes; Howard was able to pull off the victory versus Garrett 95-84.  The Dragons (7-10) used an 11-2 run with 10 min left in the game that helped create a little separation.  Howard scored 26 points off of 21 Garrett turnovers.  Jordan Reid (Silver Spring, MD/Albert Einstein High School) led the way for Howard with 24 points and 9 rebounds.  The Dragons had multiple contributors in the game as Geron Brathwaite (Jamaica Queens, NY/Gaithersburg High School) had 16 points with 3 assists and 3 steals, while Ardie Dorsey had 18 points and 8 rebounds and Michael Gray (Glenn Dale, MD/Bowie High School) chipped in with 21 points.
            Garrett (11-6) had chances to come back in the game, but multiple turnovers ended up coming back to bite them.  The Lakers also missed 4 consecutive free throws, effectively ending their chances at picking up a win.  Ariel Watson led the way for the Lakers with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, and Jermaine Samuel also had 12 points.  Other contributors for Garrett include Ray Hinton with 5 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds, and Simun Kovac had 12 points with 9 rebounds.
