Catonsville, MD - After a pair of dominating victories for the Dragons, the momentum stalled out in a lackluster 1-0 loss at Catonsville.

The Dragons came close to taking the lead in the 32nd minute when a Matias Britos (Sykesville, MD/Liberty) shot was cleared off the line by a Cardinals defender to keep the game scoreless in what proved to be the only shot by the Dragons in the first half.

It took until the 78th minute for either team to score as Catonsville was able to score on Darrio Campbell's first goal of the season.

Without a shot for close to 50 minutes of play, Anderson Mejia Marroquin (Elkridge, MD/Hammond) and Daniel Fuentes (Clarksville, MD/River Hill) each had late attempts saved by the Cardinals goalkeeper as Howard was shutout for the second time this season.

The Dragons fall to a tie for sixth in the conference with just one regular season match left to play against second place CCBC Essex on Wednesday, October 17 at 7 PM.
