The Dragons got out to a quick start as
Deven Richmond (Bear, DE/DeMatha) hit a couple of long range shots early on his way to a game high 25 points. With Howard putting the pressure on the Cougars,
Jordan Reid (Silver Spring, MD/Albert Einstein) took control as he scored the next 10 points to give the Dragons a 22-5 lead midway through the first half.

Heading into the halftime break, the Dragons had an impressive 62-25 lead as they continued to get production from the whole team with eight players scoring seven or more points. They continued their dominance in the second half and pulled away from the Cougars with
Nathan Ferguson (Silver Spring, MD/Bethesda) scoring 14 of his career high 22 points in the final 20 minutes.

Emeka Eni (Pesaro, Italy/Lewisville) had a huge impact in the game with his first career double-double, chipping in 17 points and 10 assists.

Howards best defensive performance of the season halted the Cougars to just 37% shooting from the floor and forcing 20 turnovers.

The Dragons will travel to Brunswick, NC for a weekend series as they take on to take on Cape Fear, Caldwell Tech and Brunswick in three consecutive days starting on December 14.
