Wye Mills, MD - Stellar efforts from heavy hitters Sydney Tucker () and Mumbi Murugi-Kamau (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) led the Dragons to an impressive 25-22, 25-14, 17-25, 25-21 victory.

Tucker continued to show off her skills of being able to provide plenty of offense for Howard with seven kills along with nine aces to lead the Dragons with 16 points.

Murugi-Kamau led all Howard players with 11 kills on 21 attempts along with a trio of aces while Elizabeth Quintin (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) chipped in another seven kills and four assists.

Setter Jasmyn Bumbray (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) recorded 19 assists, her second most for a match in the 2018 campaign along with five kills in the match.

Howard will next host Northern Virginia on Thursday, September 27 at 7 PM.
