Columbia, MD - The Dragons went up against national powerhouse Onondaga and fell to the #4 ranked Lazers 23-2.

Kristen Ogle (Sykesville, MD/Century) made a great run and buried the goal on a fast break counter attack.
On the ensuing draw,
Sandra Naylor (Elkridge, MD/Mt. DeSales) grabbed control and passed it to
Marielle Henriquez (Laurel, MD/Reservoir) who earned a free position attempt. Her low shot found the back of the net and Howard found themselves with some momentum.
That was the end of the scoring for Howard as Onondaga held the Dragons scoreless for the rest of the game.
Ogle and Naylor led the Dragons in ground balls with three each, caused turnovers with three each and combined to get nine of 11 draw controls for Howard.
Brianna Bucksell (Washington, DC/Oxon Hill) made nine saves in her collegiate debut in goal with several highlight reel saves.
The Dragons will next host conference rivals Anne Arundel on Thursday, March 28 at 4 PM.
