Columbia, MD - The #4 ranked Dragons scored 12 goals in the first quarter and then put on the cruise control as they defeated the Ocean County Vikings 23-3.

Bobby Solomon (Fairfax, VA/Woodson) was unstoppable in the first quarter as he scored eight goals in the first 13 minutes of the game including six straight for the Dragons.

Ocean scored the first goal in the second quarter to break the streak, but the Dragons started a new one as they went ahead 23-1 before allowing a couple of late goals.

Howard had 12 different goal scorers for the second straight game with Colvin Prosser (Kennesaw, GA/Lassiter) adding three goals while Tavis Cobb (Lexington, KY/Tate's Creek) and Jake Polinsky (Sykesville, MD/Marriotts Ridge) scoring two each.

Jeremy Sforzo (Vail, CO/Battle Mountain) added four more assists as he leads the NJCAA with 22 on the season.

Jake Griffin (Eldersburg, MD/Liberty) and Tommy Tucker (Laurel, MD/Reservoir) combined to go 25-27 on face-offs in the game while Tim Russell (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) picked up his fourth win of the season as he made five saves in the first half.

The Dragons will next travel to conference rivals Anne Arundel on Wednesday, March 3 for a 3 PM showdown against the #8 ranked Riverhawks.
