Columbia, MD - The six-time defending national champion Monroe CC Tribunes showed up to the game with just nine healthy players, but were able to defeat the Dragons 19-3.

 Howard went down 6-0 early in the game before Kristen Ogle (Sykesville, MD/Century) scored a couple of goals on great individual efforts to bring the Dragons back into the game.

Down 9-2, Sandra Naylor (Elkridge, MD/Mt. DeSales) scored on a great feed from Maddie Reeser (Sykesville, MD/Century) late in the first half to give Howard some positive momentum.

That would unfortunately be the last time the Dragons would score in the game as the Tribunes closed the game on an 11-0 run. 

Ogle led the team with four ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers; but her efforts were not enough to stem the tide.

Howard will next take on the #1 ranked team in the country as Harford comes to town on Wednesday, April 23 with a perfect 9-0 record.
