Arnold, MD - The Dragons got off to a slow start and were unable to comeback against the fast flying Anne Arundel Riverhawks, as Howard fell 23-3 in their regular season finale.

Anne Arundel scored the first 12 goals of the game before Marielle Henriquez (Laurel, MD/Reservoir) scored her team leading 17th goal of the season on a free position shot late in the first half.

Madison Altenburg (Columbia, MD/Seton Keogh) scored early in the second half and Maddie Reeser (Sykesville, MD/Century) netted her seventh of the season on a Noelle Dawson (Catonsville, MD/Kings Academy) assist.

Brianna Bucksell (Washington, DC/Oxon Hill) made nine saves as the Dragons were able to slow down Anne Arundel in the second half.

The Dragons will now prepare to host the Region 20 tournament and will face off against undefeated #1 ranked Harford on Wednesday, May 8 at 4 PM in the tournament semifinals.
