McHenry, MD - The Dragons cruised to a comfortable straight sets victory over the Garrett Lakers to earn their second conference victory of the season.

Howard jumped all over Garrett early as they led 16-2 in the first set and never looked back as they won 25-9. The Dragons won the second set even more convincingly 25-8 before rotating the squad in the third set and still emerging victorious 25-14.

Emily Aubertin (Mount Airy, MD/Linganore) returned from her minor injury to score seven aces and four kills along with a team leading five digs. Kira Thompson (Elkridge, MD/Atholton) led the team with five kills adding two aces to the effort while setter Sabrina Lagomarsino (Clarksville, MD/Atholton) accounted for all 14 assists on the day.

The Dragons will return home to take on conference powerhouse Montgomery on Friday, September 20 at 6 PM.
