McHenry, MD - David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) and Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) combined to score 37 points as the Dragons were able to fend off the Garrett College Lakers 76-51.

The Dragons could do no wrong in the first half as they build up a 42-15 lead going into halftime including a 14-0 run to start the game. While Howard took the foot off the gas pedal a bit in the second half, the end result was rarely in doubt.

Garey led the team with 23 points on 9-15 shooting from the floor including a couple from long range. Eaton scored 14 points and Koby Baptiste (New Carrollton, MD/Parkdale) added 10 points and eight rebounds. Joel Webb (Forrestville, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) scored six including an earth shattering dunk early in the first half and Hollique Johnson (Millersville, MD/Old Mill) came down with a season high 12 rebounds.

Howard will return home on Tuesday, December 7 as they take on the St. Mary's JV team at 7 PM.
