Frederick, MD - The Dragons volleyball team traveled west to Frederick and found a worthy adversary, falling to the Cougars 3-0 in straight sets. With the loss, the Dragons fall to 0-3 on the season and 0-2 against Maryland opponents.

Angel Balogun (Ellicott City, MD/Mt. Hebron) took advantage of her first opportunity on the court in recording her first collegiate point on a kill while also assisting on a block with Kayla Hendershot (Columbia, MD/Hammond). Eryca Sterling (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) scooped up a team high 16 digs and Cassandra Marks (Columbia, MD/Long Reach) scored a kill and an ace from the back line.

The Dragons will look to pick up their first win of the season as they travel to Allegany on Tuesday, September 7 at 6 PM.
