Columbia, MD - A dominating performance saw the Dragons rebound from their tough loss at Catonsville to defeat the Allegany College of Maryland Trojans 17-0.
The Dragons had 11 different goalscorers in the game led by
Mahmoud Mansour (Columbia, MD/Home School) and
Abdoul Camara (Burtonsville, MD/High Point) who each scored a hat trick.
Evan Doten (Clarksville, MD/River Hill) and
Brandon Ruano (Laurel, MD/Laurel) each added two goals with Doten also tying
Dylan Portillo (Bladensburg, MD/Bladensburg) with two assists each in the contest.
Howard CC outshot Allegany 68-2 in the game as
Gabriel Viteri (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) and
Lesbin Monroy (Laurel, MD/Laurel) combined to not make a single save in the game.
The Dragons will get a week of rest before facing the vaunted CCBC Essex Knights on Tuesday, September 14 at 4 PM.
