Columbia, MD - The Dragons won their seventh in a row and their 25th consecutive victory at home in a familiar story of first half dominance as they defeated CCBC Dundalk 76-43.
For a fifth consecutive home game, the Dragons smothered their opponents on the defensive end, holding the Lions to just 16 first half points while scoring 44 amongst 10 different scorers. Once again, the cruise control button was pushed for the second half as the Dragons eased their way to another victory.Â
Joel Webb (Forrestville, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) tallied his seventh double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds along with three blocks.
David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) and
Teylor Silverman (Baltimore, MD/Lansdowne) were on target from long range as they each scored 13 points while
Steve Doar (Juba, South Sudan/Minnesota Prep) chipped in a career high 11.
Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) dished out a game high nine assists while
DJ Tucker (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) pulled down 15 rebounds.
Hollique Johnson (Millersville, MD/Old Mill) also provided toughness in the post with nine rebounds and three blocks.Â
The Dragons will now prepare for arguably their biggest regular season game as they travel to Cecil College to take on the #9 nationally ranked (D2) Seahawks on Wednesday, January 26 at 7 PM.
