Columbia, MD - The Howard CC men's soccer team celebrated their 10 sophomores in the final home game for the team this year, only to have Prince George's ruin the party in defeating the Dragons 1-0.

Howard out-shot the Owls 25-9 in the game and controlled possession for much of the game. Unfortunately for the home team, it was not enough to get the victory as Prince George's stole away a goal on a counter attack in the 52nd minute. 

The Dragons had numerous chances to tie the game in the second half, with the most dramatic coming in the final seconds as Joebel Gray (/Arundel) took a shot from the middle of the box that was saved away by the Owls goalkeeper.

Howard will look to rebound on less than 24 hours rest as they travel to Carroll on Friday, October 7 for a 3 PM start.
