Rockville, MD - The Dragons faced up against two tough foes as part of a stretch of three straight game days, ultimately losing to Bryant & Stratton 52-51 and Monroe College 76-64.
In game one of the tournament, the Dragons lost a heartbreaker as a Bryant & Stratton three pointer with just six seconds left captured the win for the Virginia based college.

Nyla Thomas (Laurel, MD/James H. Blake) and
Julia Harrington (Baltimore, MD/Baltimore City College) each added 11 to the cause.Â
In game two, the Dragons faced off against DI powerhouse Monroe. but were able to hold their own before ultimately falling 76-64.
Smith again led the way for Howard with 21 points while Harrington added a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Mikiyah Malled had another strong game in the post with 13 points and eight rebounds to mask a weekend long issue with turnovers.
Howard will look to get back to winning when they return home on Wednesday, November 16 at 5 PM with the Garrett Lakers coming to town.
