Beaver County, PA - The Dragons took complete control of the first quarter and won every quarter on their way to a 70-44 win over the Beaver County Titans.

Howard stifled Beaver County in the first quarter, holding their opponents to just three points and taking a commanding lead after the first 10 minutes of the game. The Dragons continued to assert their authority in the game as they took a 33-13 lead into halftime and never relented the lead from there.

Kori People (Washington, D.C./Central) scored 23 points to lead Howard while Kalani Corkeron (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) added 10 points and seven rebounds. Madison Carey (Brandywine, MD/Frederick Douglass) was welcomed back into the lineup as she scored 12 points to boost the depth of the squad. Lillyann Eldridge (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) contributed nine rebounds and six assists, tying for team leads in each stat.

The Dragons return home to take on Prince George's on Wednesday, February 2 at 5 PM.
