Philadelphia, PA - The nationally ranked (D1) Bears were able to pass a tough test as the Dragons had a late lead before Harcum pulled out a 91-76 win.
The Dragons were down by just one at halftime on the road against one of the toughest teams on their regular season schedule. After taking a lead with eight minutes left in regulation, the Dragons were unable to keep pace with the Bears and faltering late.
Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) scored 25 points with 10 rebounds, five steals and four assists to lead the Dragons effort.
David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) scored 23 with six assists while
DJ Tucker (Ellicott City, MD/Marriotts Ridge) added 16 points and nine rebounds.
The Dragons will have a second straight difficult road game as they go to #5 ranked (D2) Chesapeake College on Wednesday, February 9 at 7 PM.
