West Windsor Township, NJ - The Dragons traveled to New Jersey to take on a powerful Mercer County and left with a couple of tough losses.

Samantha Hobert (Elkridge, MD/Howard) pitched game one and racked up four strikeouts, giving up six earned runs and 12 unearned runs thanks to five Howard errors. 

The top five in the Howard lineup all recorded a hit with Kately Burdette  hitting a double to lead off the game then scoring on a Grace Tolle (Woodstock, MD/Marriotts Ridge) RBI single. 

Erika Goodwin (Laurel, MD/Hammond) took the mound to start game two, but left before finishing the first inning after giving up six unearned runs before Hobert came in to finish out the game. Tolle had two more hits including a solo home run while Sarah Phelps (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) drove in Hobert to score a second run for howard.
