McHenry, MD - The fantastic run of the Dragons came to an end against the regional tournament top seeded Cecil Seahawks 81-72 to end the season for the men in maroon.

The game appeared to be in the balance from the very beginning as a late surge from the Dragons at the end of the first half saw Howard trailing just 41-39 at halftime.

Cecil went to the inside to start pulling away from the Dragons early in the second half, but clutch shots from Daeshawn Eaton (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) and David Garey (Gaithersburg, MD/Hargrave Military) kept Howard within striking distance. In the end, not enough shots found the bottom of the net for the Dragons as a 5-19 shooting performance from three point range doomed the Howard hopeful. 

Garey finished with 23 points to lead all scorers while Eaton scored 15. Joel Webb (Forrestville, MD/Dr. Henry A. Wise) scored 11 points with nine rebounds and Koby Baptiste (New Carrollton, MD/Parkdale) added seven.
