Columbia, MD - The #2 ranked Dragons were able to dominate the #8 ranked Delaware Tech Hawks in the regular season finale by the score of 31-5.

The Dragons asserted their dominance over the game early with an 8-0 first quarter led by Philip Peterson with a hat trick in the opening 10 minutes of the game.

After Delaware Tech scored early in the second quarter to finally get on the board, Howard rattled off 14 unanswered goals to take a commanding 22-1 lead. While the Hawks started to play a little better in the third quarter as they pulled a few goals back, but Chris Peterson (Saline, MI/Saline) and his 16 saves prevented the Hawks from making any kind of comeback.

Caleb Tatum (Kingswood, TX/Kingswood) led the Dragons with his most productive game of the season with six goals and two assists while Zane Dalpe (Belle River, ON/Saint Anne) added four goals and three assists. Petersen joined Brennan Treacy (Woodbine, MD/Saint Pauls), Kaden Brennan (Kingsville, ON/Kingsville District), and Max Bruno (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) who all had five points each in the game.

The Dragons will now prepare for the Region 20 tournament where they will face off against tournament host CCBC Essex in the semifinals on Friday, April 29 at 5 PM. Howard defeated the Knights 16-8 in their regular season bout back on March 30.
