Leonard Dunor (/Sheyenne) scored four goals and assisted another to lead the Dragons in a convincing 9-0 victory over the Cecil Seahawks.
Dunor used his blazing speed to run past the Cecil fullbacks, scoring the first three goals of the game and four of the first five for the Dragons.
Precious Akinrotoye (/Meade) scored his first goal of the season as
Berdini Paul (Columbia, MD/Wilde Lake) picked up the assist in his season debut.Â
Joebel Gray (/Arundel) scored his fifth goal of the year while
Mahmoud Monsour (/Homeschool)Â and
Abdoul Camara (/High Point) each added their fourth goals of the season. Jeffrey Fuentes added the ninth goal for the Dragons on a late breakaway for his second goal of the year as the sixth different goal scorer in the game.
Danny Ventura (/Reservoir) took advantage of his first collegiate start in goal, making four saves to earn a clean sheet.
The Dragons will now prepare for their long time rivals as they will travel to Montgomery College on Tuesday, September 13 at 7 PM.
