Hagerstown, MD - The Hawks of Hagerstown Community College scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of the game, shocking the Dragons with a final score of 5-1.
Kayda Shives added the first goal at the 2nd minute mark getting things going early for the Hawks, and Kadenn Martin followed with two goals at the 11th and 14th minute.
Martin assists Alexis Linnety with a 4th goal for the Hawks at the 59th minute, but the Dragons were able to find some room to push back with a goal scored by
Giselle Castillo (Falls Church, VA/Justice) at the 72nd minute.
Shives assisted Martin for a final goal at the 80 minute mark to solidify their win over the Dragons. Martin finishes the game with 3 goals and 1 assist.
Howard will look to rebound over the weekend, as they will take on the Riverhawks of Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD on Saturday, October 14 at 12 PM.
