Columbia, MD - The Howard Community College men and women soccer teams have qualified for the NJCAA Region 20 playoffs which will kick off on Saturday, October 21.

The men's team has earned the #4 seed in the tournament and earn the right to host the quarterfinals. Northern Virginia will come to the Dragons Lair on October 21 for a 12 PM kick-off for what should be an action packed playoff matchup. Howard defeated Northern Virginia 6-1 on the road during the regular season and will look to repeat that success on the home field.

The women's team finished fifth in the region and will travel to Anne Arundel on October 21 for a 12 PM start in their quarterfinal match up. The two teams were scheduled to play each other in the last game of the regular season, but the match was declared a no contest.

Howard Community College is the host site of the tournament semifinals and finals for both men and women. The women's semifinals will take place on Wednesday, October 25 with the first match scheduled for 1 PM. The men's semifinals will be on Thursday, October 26 and will also start at 1 PM.

The championship matches will take place on Saturday, October 28 with the women's final at 12 PM and the men's final at 3 PM in what figures to be a busy week at Howard Community College.

All semifinal and final games will have a $5 entrance fee with the games also being streamed live online.
