Columbia, MD - Dragons season comes to an end after a loss to the Knights of CCBC Essex 4-1 in the semifinals of the Region 20 Tournament.

The Dragons fell behind 2-0 in the first half of their matchup against the Knights of CCBC Essex, but the Dragons caught a break at the 40th minute after Jason Fuentes (Columbia, MD/Hammond) assisted Mateo Moore (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) in finding the back of the net, ending the first half 2-1.

Dragons looked to keep the momentum on their side going into the second half to tie things up with the Knights, but it just wasn't enough to regain control. The Knights added two more insurance goals that helped to solidify their win over the Dragons and put an end to the 2023 season.

The Howard Men's soccer team ends the season with an overall record of 10-10 and 4-5 in the Region 20 conference.
