Cumberland, MD - Marquis Freeman (Manassas, VA/Fork Union Prep) shot lights out to lead the Dragons in an impressive win over the Allegany Trojans 86-67.

Freeman was nearly perfect in the game, shooting 8-9 from the field which included a 6-7 performance from behind the three point arc as he scored a game high 22 points. Benjamin Murphy (Reisterstown, MD/Franklin) played spectacularly on both sides of the court, scoring 16 points on 7-12 shooting from the field to go along with five rebounds, five assists, and three steals. 

Andrew Mills (Owings Mills, MD/Newtown) scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four assists with all seven rebounds coming in a second half that the Dragons dominated to make the game a rout. Jalen Bowie (Frederick, MD/Frederick) added 12 points while Stephen Doar (Juba, South Sudan/Minnesota Prep) had a big contribution with eight points and a couple of blocks. 

Howard will now prepare for another huge regional matchup as they take on the Montgomery Raptors on Wednesday, February 8 at 8 PM.
