Baltimore, MD - The Howard Community College Dragons men's soccer team lost their sixth game of the season Tuesday night, falling to rival CCBC Essex 4-0.
The Dragons were held to just eight shots by the Knights, the third time this year they've been held to single-digit shots. The loss marked the sixth loss in the last eight games for Howard.
Sam Santos (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) led the Dragons with two shots and one shot on goal.
Mateo Moore (Columbia, MD/Oakland Mills) had the other Dragon shot on goal, while
Kevin Rubi (Columbia, MD/Long Reach),
Jefferson Estrada (Hyattsville, MD/Northwestern),
Bryan Barrientos (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville),
Kyle Simmons (Columbia, MD/Atholton), and
Darian Paz (Fredericksburg, VA/Stafford) all recorded one shot. Goalkeeper
Luke Ryerson (Ellicott City, MD/Howard) made 11 saves.
The Dragons finish their regular season on Sunday, October 20 when they face WVU Potomac State College at 3:00 PM.
