Box Score Fredrick, MD - A battle to the very end, Howard ultimately fell to the Frederick Cougars 3-0 (25-17, 28-26, 25-13), in Frederick, MD at the Athletics Center. 

The Dragons found themselves in a battle with the Cougars, losing a tough first set 25-17. Howard came alive in the second set, taking at least a two-point lead against the Cougars on multiple occasions. The Dragons finding looked to call the game with a match point on multiple occasions, but unable to finish. Howard A missed serve and a block from the Cougars gave them set #2 of the match, with a final score of 28-26.

Unable to rally back in the third, Frederick ultimately takes an early lead over the Dragons and never looked back. Howard drops the third set, 25-13. 

After falling to Frederick, the Dragons move to 2-7 on the season. Looking to turn things around over the weekend, the Dragons will head to North East, MD for a tri-match at Cecil College on Saturday, October 5. Howard will face the Seahawks at 10am, and the Trojans of Allegany College at 3pm.
