Columbia, MD - With the fall sports season officially completed, ten Dragon athletes have been given postseason awards. Whether being named to the All-Region or All-Tournament teams, the Dragons made a statement this fall!

Women's Soccer
All-Region 20 Honorable Mention - Bella Buscher (Glenelg, MD/Glenelg) (GK)
Buscher joined the Dragons midway through the season and immediately made an impact in net. The sophomore transfer recorded 141 saves, good enough for second in Region 20 Division II. Buscher also recorded four shots while playing offense for the Dragons.
Women's Volleyball
All-Region 20 Honorable Mention - Cheyenne Ellis (Eldersburg, MD/Century)
Sophomore
Cheyenne Ellis (Eldersburg, MD/Century) led her team in assists on the season with a whopping 445, sixth in all of Region 20. Ellis recorded 28 kills, 163 digs, and 52 aces on the season.
All-Region 20 Honorable Mention - Stefamae Barquillia (Samar, The Philippines/Einstein)
The sophomore libero was the Dragons top defender in 2025, recording 354 digs and 43 assists. Barquillia ranked fourth in Region 20 for total digs and first in digs per set on the season with 6.11.
Men's Soccer
All-Region 20 First Team & All-Region 20 Tournament Team - Bryan Barrientos (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville)
The Dragons sophomore captain finished his season with seven goals on 50 shots (Fifth best in Region 20), seven assists (Sixth best in Region 20), and 21 total points (Ninth best in Region 20). He secured the middle of the Dragons offensive line all season, and was named to the All-Tournament team with seven shots and one assist during the Region 20 tournament.
All-Region 20 First Team - Denny Mora (Hyattsville, MD/Northwestern)
The phenomenal freshman forward was a scoring machine for the Dragons, leading the team in goals for the season. Mora was top-five in all statistical categories, ranking third in points (34), third in goals (13), fourth in assists (8), and third in shots (63).
All-Region 20 First Team - Yeabsira Tesfaye (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia/St. Ragueal Church)
Tesfaye's dynamic speed and scoring abilities made him a threat all season. He finished second in Region 20 for total points with 38, was fourth in goals with 13, second in assists with 12 (leading the team), and second in shots with 70.
All-Region 20 Second Team & All-Region 20 Tournament Team - Jonathan Sanchez (Ellicott City, MD/Mount Hebron)
HCC's phenomenal goalkeeper was crucial to the Dragons' program best 15 wins this season. Sanchez finished tied for first in Region 20 with just 12 goals allowed all season, a 0.71 goals-against average. With a save percentage of .821, he ranked third of all goalkeepers in that category. Sanchez was named to the All-Tournament team after allowing just four goals in three games and recording ten saves.
All-Region 20 Second Team - Kiar Sani (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia/St. Ragueal Church)
The freshman midfielder was a crucial part of the Dragons attack, finishing second on the team in goals with 11 (good enough for fifth in Region 20). A late-season ankle injury ended what could have been a record-breaking season for the freshman.
All-Region 20 Honorable Mention - Nicholas Mirecki (Glenelg, MD/Glenelg)
The duel-sport athlete was Howard's top defender in 2025, providing great pressure on his opponents all season and being the driving force behind Howard's backline. He finished the season with one goal, and was recognized for his defensive achievements with an honorable mention.
All-Region 20 Tournament Team - Donnie Frayer (Odenton, MD/Annapolis Area Christian)
Frayer's lone season with the Dragons saw him named to the All-Tournament team after an excellent postseason run. Frayer recorded one goal on 10 shots and helped lead the Dragons to a historic comeback against Cecil College in the first round.
