Rozon Wins Player of the Month Again

Columbia, MD - For the second straight month, freshman attacker Lukas Rozon has been named the NJCAA Region 20 Men's Lacrosse Player of the Month for April 2026 after powering the Howard Community College Dragons through a dominant stretch of the season and into the postseason.

Rozon was the catalyst for one of the top offenses in the NJCAA during the month, helping Howard climb to the No. 1 national ranking and eventually secure the top seed in the NJCAA National Championship tournament.

The Ottawa, Ontario native consistently delivered in the biggest moments throughout April, including a standout performance in Howard's regular season victory over rival CCBC Essex. In that game, Rozon exploded for six goals and three assists in a 16-10 win, accounting for nine total points while also adding a man-down goal and several key assists during decisive scoring runs.

Rozon's offensive production became a driving force behind Howard's historic season. By the end of April, he ranked second nationally with 79 points and third in the NJCAA with 46 goals while helping lead the Dragons to their first Region 20 championship since 2018. He was also named the Region 20 Tournament Offensive MVP after scoring nine combined goals across Howard's two postseason victories.

Howard head coach Erik Foust and the Dragons relied heavily on Rozon's ability to create offense both as a scorer and facilitator. His chemistry with fellow attackers Logan Foust and William Pesce helped make Howard one of the most balanced and dangerous teams in the country.

Rozon's April surge helped position the Dragons for a historic postseason run as Howard entered the national tournament with the No. 1 overall seed for the first time in program history.
