Tommy Potts joins the Howard CC men's soccer team as an assistant coach for the 2018 season. Potts will work primarily with the goalkeepers thanks to his vast experience and knowledge of the position.
In addition to his coaching duties at Howard CC, Potts is also an assistant coach for the Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC) U23 teamÂ
Potts played one season at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where he saw action in two games during the 2017 season and earning a 1-0 record in those appearances. Potts redshirted in 2016 for the Retrievers while earning a place on the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

He was a member of the Georgia Southern University soccer team for one semester following his time at UMBC.

Potts is an Academy One Goalkeeping Coach, an organization for goalkeeper training.Â
