Howard Community College

Jose Benitez was named the head coach of the women's soccer program at Howard CC in March of 2023.
 
Benitez currently serves as the Director of Coaching for Total Futbol Club based out of College Park, MD. He holds a director of coaching license for the United States Soccer Coaches Association and was named the 2021 Elite Developmental Program Top Director of Coaching in the region.
 
He previously founded and operated the Total Soccer Arena indoor sports complex which he managed from 2001-2021. He served as a coach at the local Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC) and was named the SAC Coach of the Year in 2013. In 2008 he earned Coach of the Year honors from the Maryland State Youth Soccer Association
 
Benitez  currently holds a United States Soccer Federation “B” license which he has held for the last 12 years. He lives in Columbia, MD with his wife and twin daughters.
