The Howard CC men's basketball team suffered another tough loss at home as they fell to Potomac State College 65-49. The loss drops the Dragons to 3-13 in a year that does not show any signs of rebounding quickly.

HCC never led in the game for the 2nd game in a row dealing with a deficit as high as 21 points in the game. Potomac State took full advantage of the 29 HCC turnovers with 28 points off turnovers and 14 fast break points. Meanwhile, the Dragons shot just 26% from the floor and 4-19 from behind the arc in a game where little went right for the home team. 

The Dragons leading scorer was Juwan Grant (Baltimore, MD, Baltimore City HS) with 15 points on 3-13 shooting from the floor but did manage 9-11 from the charity line and 15 rebounds. Gregory Ash Jr. (West Baltimore, MD, Northwestern HS) was the only other HCC player with double digit points as he finished with 10. Kyle Davis (Washington D.C., Wakefield HS) led the team in assists and steals with five a piece.

HCC will look to make up for this loss on Saturday January 16th as they travel to Baltimore City CC; tip-off is scheduled for 3 PM.
