Dragons win 1st home game by 24

Coming into last night's contest, the Dragons looked to add to their 16 point win on Friday night against Chesapeake College. While Anne Arundel looked to rebound with a win after losing their last 2 games; the start of the game was back and forth for the first 4:32 seconds when the score was 11-11. After that the Dragons took the lead and never looked back. The largest leads the Dragons had in the 1st half were 16 points and then 18 points going into halftime. At halftime Howard lead 49-31, the Dragons shot 57% from the Charity stripe. To help the Dragons at the free throw line was ZayZay Loomis (Laurel, MD/Laurel) and Dieon Graves (Columbia, MD/Chapel Gate) both shooting 75%. Neftaly Lind (Albany, NY/Green Tech Charter) scored 13 points. Paul Golder (Laurel, MD/Laurel) was second with 9 points, Connor Jacobs (Laurel, MD/Annapolis Area Christian) and ZayZay Loomis (Laurel, MD/Laurel) both had 7. In the 2nd half the Howard did not take their foot off the gas. The largest lead the Dragons got out to was 25 and the final was 96-72. With 3 minutes left in the game the Dragons scored their 96th point and it felt like they were trying to get 100. The Dragons were led by Neftaly Lind (Albany, NY/Green Tech Charter)'s 22 points, Connor Jacobs (Laurel, MD/Annapolis Area Christian) was next with 13 points, Paul Golder (Laurel, MD/Laurel) and Nathan Bonsu (Silver Spring, MD/Blake) both had 12 each and Dieon Graves (Columbia, MD/Chapel Gate) added 11 points. The Dragons look to build off this win as they next play Northern Virginia Community College on Wednesday December 7th.
