Game Recap: Men's Soccer | | Matt Stovall

Dragons pick up first win of the season beating Ocean CC 1-0

How it happened:
 
  • It was a hard fought defensive battle in the first half, Sawyer Kennell (Woodbine, MD/Century HS) did a great job clearing the ball out of our half.  The whole team played hard and worked as a unit to keep the ball moving forward.
  • Howard dominated control of the ball, getting 21 shots while OCC only got 5.
  • The game got a bit chippy with 4 yellow cards being handed out, 2 to each team.
  • Cristian Alffaro scored the only goal with an assist from Jared Simowitz (/).
  • Ocean pressed hard in the final few minutes but were unable to get past the stifling defense of the Dragons.
